With the opening of a branch in Romania, speciality chemicals company Bodo Möller Chemie (Offenbach / Germany; www.bm-chemie.de) is expanding its sales network in Eastern Europe. The new branch in Bucharest is to supply the Romanian market as well as Bulgaria and Moldova. The portfolio includes products for applications in adhesive and sealing, composites, electronics and the paint and coatings sector along with antimicrobial additives for plastics from suppliers such as DuPont, Henkel Adhesives Technologies, Huntsman, Sanitized and Sir Industriale.

In Egypt, Bodo Möller recently signed an exclusive agreement with BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) for the distribution of resins and additives for the paint and coatings industry. In addition to management operations in Cairo and a laboratory in Alexandria, Bodo Möller has been running its own production facility in the country with an affiliated laboratory in Sadat City since 2015. At the plant, the Polymer System House, the company produces customised formulations of polymer materials, among other things.

For the growing CASE industry (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) in southern Africa, Bodo Möller also distributes resins and additives from BASF in South Africa and other countries in the region.
