BIP PLASTEX
Chem-Polymer with new business structure / Production sites in Britain and the US
BIP Group Ltd. (Tat Bank Road, Oldbury, GB-West Midlands B69 4PG; www.bip.co.uk) is taking another step towards globalising its existing thermoplastics activities and expanding its successful transatlantic operations. “We have broadened our operative business across the two continents of America and Europe with a focus on different customer target groups,” says BIP´s General Manager Dr. Keith Sansom. “In the US, our main focus is on the automotive industry in general and OEMs in particular, while our European customer structure has developed from the traditional BIP focus on global raw material supply to the electronics industry. The increasing globalisation of both the automotive and electronics industry has motivated us to join the strong business divisions of our European and American organisations in order to promote the global expansion of these market segments.” Therefore, all compound activities will be combined under the roof of the US subsidiary Chem-Polymer Ltd. (Ft. Myers / Florida; www.chempolymer.com). This corporate restructuring measure will be in force directly.
