DaniMer Scientific (Bainbridge, Georgia / USA; www.danimer.com) has signed a distribution and logistics agreement with Sijo Global Partners (SijoGP, Washington DC / USA; www.sijogp.com), a distributor of bio-based polymers and resins. SijoGP said it will supply DaniMer’s bio-based products including renewable hot melt adhesive (RHMA), which supports multiple end-of-life options including recycling and composting.

SijoGP, which describes itself as a minority business enterprise, says its mission is to expand traditional boundaries in the marketplace by developing links with emerging and global enterprises to achieve sustainable economic growth. "This partnership with bioplastics technology leader DaniMer will enable SijoGP to make a difference in peoples’ lives by providing a renewable alternative to petroleum-based plastics that is crucial to meeting the sustainability initiatives of majority companies,” said Helen Jae Lee, SijoGP’s president.
