Polish bioplastic bag manufacturer enters German market / Sales agreement with Inside Global Business
Poland’s Bioerg (Dabrowa Górnicza; www.bioerg.pl) is planning to expand its international sales and distribution network. In signing an agreement with Inside Global Business (Berlin / Germany), the manufacturer of biologically degradable plastic bags hopes to tap the German market. Other key sales markets include Norway, Italy and Switzerland, Polish media report, referring to company statements.

Bioerg was founded in 2007 and has been listed on “NewConnect”, the Warsaw stock market’s trade segment for small- and medium-sized businesses, since March this year. In H1 2011, the subsidiary of Polish packaging giant Erg (Dabrowa Górnicza; http://erg.com.pl) generated sales of about EUR 185,000. Parent company Erg, which produces films, injection-moulded containers (including buckets and slide trays) and PP or PVC packaging straps, generated sales of roughly EUR 13.3m in 2010.
