BILLION
Subsidiary established in Germany
Injection moulding machinery manufacturer Billion (Bellignat / France; www.billion.fr) founded a new German subsidiary, Billion Kunststofftechnik, at Offenburg at the beginning of 2007. The new operation will be headed by the commercial director of the parent company, Olivier Crave, together with Patrick Hirtzel and Alain Maurer. Crave intends to begin by offering sales and service in Germany from Offenburg, and within the next two or three years to achieve around 10% of the French company´s total sales (last reported at EUR 32.8m) in Germany. Until now, the machinery manufacturer has had a relatively low profile in the country.
