Biesterfeld (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld.com) has obtained the exclusive distribution rights for the complete portfolio of French polyester specialist Polyprocess (Saint-Jean-d’Illac; www.polyprocess.fr) in Germany. The range includes polyester products such as gelcoats, topcoats, flame-retardant systems, mould making systems and model pastes as well as vinyl ester and epoxy vinyl ester products. Polyprocess’ products are used by customers in the automotive, marine and caravan industries, with the sanitary sector being a growing market.

The German distributor also recently appointed two new general managers. Pavlo Prykhodchenko is responsible for the group’s Biesterfeld Spezialchemie Ukraine business based in Kiev since July 2019. The Ukrainian subsidiary supplies coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers (CASE) and is a specialist in polymers and additives for industries such as pharmaceutical, household and nutrition. For Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, Marc van Loon is the general manager of Biesterfeld Plastic Benelux since the start of August.
