Biesterfeld Polybass (Milan / Italy; www.biesterfeldpolybass.com) is extending its long-standing cooperation with ExxonMobil Chemical (Baytown, Texas / USA; www.exxonmobilchemical.com). The Italian company has been distributing the "Vistalon" family of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber in Italy since January 2018. The material is suitable for injection moulding and extrusion processes. It is used in the automotive and consumer goods industries, in gaskets for roofing membranes as well as in cable insulation and flexible hoses, among other things.

German distribution group Biesterfeld (Hamburg; www.biesterfeld-plastic.com) and ExxonMobil Chemical have been working together for 33 years. Vistalon is also distributed by Biesterfeld Performance Rubber in Germany, Austria, the Benelux region, France, Central Europe, Brazil, the former CIS states and Switzerland.
