Distributing Chemtura Great Lakes Solutions' flame retardants in Italy
German speciality chemicals distributor Biesterfeld Spezialchemie (Hamburg; www.biesterfeld-spezialchemie.com) has extended its agreement with Chemtura (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania / USA; www.chemtura.com). On 1 January 2015, Biesterfeld’s Italian subsidiary – Biesterfeld Polychem (Milan; www.biesterfeldpolychem.com) – became the exclusive distributor of the US group’s Great Lakes Solutions product portfolio in Italy.
The distribution deal comprises Great Lakes Solutions’ entire flame retardants portfolio of both bromine- and phosphorous-based materials used in the E&E, construction and transportation industries, among others.
