Ineos Polyolefins (Lyndhurst / UK; www.ineospolyolefins.com) has extended its distribution co-operation with Biesterfeld (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld.com) to include HDPE. Under the agreement, Biesterfeld says it will supply Ineos’ injection moulding grades of HDPE throughout most of Europe, including Germany, Austria, France, Benelux, Switzerland and central Europe.

Ineos has already appointed Distrupol (Chertsey / UK; www.distrupol.com) as sole distributor in the UK for its injection moulding and extrusion grades of HDPE – see Plasteurope.com of 16.05.2008. Ineos is increasing its regular supplies of HDPE to injection moulding customers, particularly in northern Europe, Biesterfeld says. Products will be supplied from Ineos’ swing production in Grangemouth / Scotland, following the recent development of new HDPE injection moulding grades at the plant – see Plasteurope.com of 28.02.2008.
