Benelux: New manager from Ashland

Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH (HQ: Ferdinandstr. 41, D-20095 Hamburg), one of the leading European plastics distributors, is intensifying its activities in the Benelux countries. On l January 1995, Michel Cobelens took over as General Manager Plastics Benelux. Units of this geographical business segment are W. Biesterfeld & Co (Nederland) BV (Eikenlaan 20, NL-2400 AA Alphen aan den Rijn) and W. Biesterfeld & Co (Belgium) NV (Bredabaan 1007, B-2930 Brasschaat). Cobelens moves from Ashland Plastics Benelux BV (Parallelweg-Zuid 33-19, NL-5281 LB Boxtel). In Benelux, Biesterfeld also is distributor for Huntsman (polystyrene), DuPont (technical thermoplastics) and Chi Mei (ABS/SAN).
