Distributing Saint-Gobain's “Meldin” 7000 polyimides in Germany
Further building on its high-performance polymer portfolio, German distributor Bieglo (Hamburg; www.bieglo.com) has recently added the “Meldin” 7000 polyimide product range of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics’ (Aurora, Ohio / USA; www.plastics.saint-gobain.com) Seals division (www.seals.saint-gobain.com) to its distribution range for the German market. The polyimide thermosetting materials are particularly suitable for use in engines, medical devices, aircraft and aerospace systems, electronic devices and industrial equipment thanks to their dimensional stability at extremely high temperatures, Bieglo said.

Commenting on the latest portfolio addition, Bieglo CEO John Biesterfeld said, “In many high-performance applications, metal replacement is an on-going topic and we continue to push the borders with our portfolio of high-performance polymers.”
