Distribution contract with Bretts Transport / Volumes at new UK facility projected to rise significantly
UK plastics recycler Berry Circular Polymers, part of US packaging group Berry Global (Evansville, Indiana; www.berryglobal.com), said it has signed a five-year distribution deal with Bretts Transport (Wisbech, UK; www.brettstransport.co.uk).

Under the terms of the deal, Bretts Transport will collect plastics waste from Berry’s partners throughout the UK and deliver it to the Berry recycling facility in Leamington Spa, UK, which opened early last year.
According to Bretts Transport, the reclaim facility is not yet running at full capacity, but Berry Circular Polymers anticipates that volumes will increase significantly over the next six months as the site gears up for further growth.

Prior to this contract, Bretts Transport had been working with Berry on a backhaul basis. Simon Brett, managing director at Bretts Transport, said Berry is “a hugely exciting brand with a bright future ahead”, adding that “we look forward to growing with them in the months and years to come”.
