Battenfeld Fischer Blasformtechnik GmbH (PO Box 1163, D-53821 Troisdorf-Spich) will be opening a sales office in Malaysia in July 1995. Situated in Kuala Lumpur, this new sales office will serve as the base from which Regional Manager Peter Andrich will continue to develop Battenfeld Fischer's business in the Asian market. "It is a measure", says General Sales Manager Thomas Lengenberg, "which is entirely justified in view of the constantly upward trend in business in Asia. The benefit of Battenfeld technology is already being enjoyed by many important customers in the ASEAN region. The constant need to improve quality standards and ever increasing competition necessitate a much faster response. Our aim in opening this new office in Kuala Lumpur is to be able to satisfy the needs of our customers even more quickly and efficiently. We are closing a strategical gap in our international network."

Through this latest measure, Battenfeld Fischer's traditionally good position will, according to the management, give further decisive impetus to the sale of blow moulding machines in the packagings and industrial components markets in Asia.
