Dutch investor Nimbus (Zelst; www.nimbus.com) has acquired all shares in extrusion machinery specialist battenfeld-cincinnati (Bad Oeynhausen / Germany; www.battenfeld-cincinnati.com). Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The switch in ownership from Zweite VR Trust Beteiligungs UG follows the company’s “successful organisational restructuring,” battenfeld-cincinnati CEO Gerold Schley said, adding that thanks to the new investments on the part of Nimbus, the company will be able to strengthen and expand its market leadership.

In addition to a sales and service network spanning the entire globe, battenfeld-cincinnati operates production sites in Bad Oeynhausen and Kempen / Germany, Vienna, Shunde / China as well as McPherson, Kansas / USA.
