Some 200 guests from business and politics, including Slovakian deputy prime minister Dušan Caplovic, attended the inauguration ceremony of BASF’s (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) new in Malacky / Slovakia at the beginning of December 2009. Elastogran (Lemförde / Germany; www.elastogran.de), BASF’s polyurethane subsidiary, had decided to establish the systems house in 2008 – see Plasteurope.com of 18.07.2008 – in response to growing demand in the region.
