BASF
Polyamide products and distribution revamped / More grades will become directly available
BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) is to complete the rebranding of its polyamide lines in Europe during 2007, making more products available directly from the company. Around 150 polyamide types and their distribution channels will be affected although all current grades will remain available.
Most "Capron" grades will be incorporated into the "Miramid" or "Ultramid" product lines, depending on their specific property profiles. All existing contracts with Capron distributors have been terminated and, following a six month transition period, the corresponding products will be available directly from BASF.
