Takeover of hot runner systems producer Synventive
US aerospace and industrial manufacturing and service provider Barnes Group (Bristol, Connecticut; www.bginc.com) on 27 August announced that it had completed its USD 335m takeover of hot runner systems manufacturer Synventive Molding Solutions (Peabody, Massachusetts / USA; www.synventive.com). The company, which operates three manufacturing sites in the US, Germany and China, will become part of Barnes’ Industrial segment. All 770 employees, who operate across 28 different countries, are included in the transfer.
