A. Schulman (Akron, Ohio / USA; www.aschulman.com) has appointed Oliver Neuss to succeed Thomas Korlin as business unit director for engineering plastics in the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region. Neuss most recently was European engineering plastics research and development director. As director for business development and product marketing in the EMEA region, Korlin will coordinate projects across the company’s business units in Europe and liaise with the corporate marketing team in Akron / USA.

The management changes are designed to enhance A. Schulman’s marketing capabilities and broaden overall business in EMEA, said Bernard Rzepka, general manager and chief for the region. Both appointments are effective 1 June 2011.
