Deal to distribute Solvay blowing agent in EMEA
Belgian speciality chemicals and food additive distributor Azelis (Antwerp; www.azelis.com) said it has signed a distribution agreement with Solvay (Brussels; www.solvay.com) for its sustainable blowing agent Alve-One. The deal covers the EMEA region and is effective immediately.

Alve-One is said to allow manufacturers to eliminate so-called substances of very high concern volatile compounds (SVHC) from their production processes, leading to a healthier work environment and to foams with lower VOC emissions, reduced odour, and lower carbon footprint.
Solvay said Azelis would be able to offer customers a broader range of high-performance solutions, enhancing their competitiveness and enabling them to meet evolving market demands for lightweight, energy-efficient, and sustainable materials.
