US manufacturer appoints Pascale Wautelet as vice president of R&D in EMEA / Label & Graphic Materials division

Avery Dennison (Pasadena, California / USA; www.averydennison.com), a manufacturer and distributor of pressure-sensitive adhesive materials, apparel branding labels and tags, RFID inlays and speciality medical products, has named Pascale Wautelet vice president of R&D for the EMEA region, within the European Label & Graphic Materials business. The Belgian national will assume her new role on 1 September 2017 in Oegstgeest / The Netherlands.
Wautelet has 20 years of experience in the chemical, petrochemical and plastics industries, including flexible packaging and labelling. She will report to Hassan Rmaile, global vice president of R&D for Avery Dennison’s Label & Graphic Materials division, who explains this move as “commitment to remaining at the forefront of research, development and product innovation.” In 2016, the company reported a turnover of USD 6.1 bn.
