With effect from 11 April, Austrian insulation manufacturer Austrotherm (Waldegg; www.austrotherm.at) announced it would raise prices in response to higher costs resulting from the Ukraine war and Western sanctions against Russia. Hikes of 15% are planned for its EPS, resol rigid foam, and polyethylene foam boards. For its XPS boards, the company is planning a rise of up to 5% for its Austrotherm Uniplatte products, up to 8% for its Austrotherm XPS products, and up to 15% for its Austrotherm XPS Premium products. Its façade profiles are to increase by up to 5%.

The company also notes that should order activity remain as strong as it currently is, volumes could again be allocated on a monthly basis.
