EFIBCA re-elects Roelof Veld as president
The members of the European Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association (EFIBCA, Bad Homburg / Germany; www.efibca.com) have re-elected president Roelof Veld for another two-year term. In addition, two new members were elected into EFIBCA’s executive council. Seref Orhun, technical adviser and export director at the Russian FIBC manufacturer Chempack, will assume the office of vice president for quality and technical matters. Orhun is joined by Chris Poole, who is commercial director for UK and Ireland at Greif Flexibles.

Former EFIBCA president and previous vice president for quality and technical matters, Amir Samadijavan, leaves the council after many years of service. As an independent consultant, he will stay in close contact with EFIBCA in future. Mumit Abdul also stepped down after many years on the council. The Bad Homburg-based association represents the interests of FIBC manufacturers, distributors and material suppliers.
