European Bioplastics: François de Bie remains chairman of the board
François de Bie (Total Corbion PLA) has once again been confirmed as chairman of European Bioplastics’ (EUBP, Berlin / Germany; www.european-bioplastics.org) management board. This is de Bie’s third term in office. The new board was announced at the association’s annual general meeting held on 21 June 2017.

Mariagiovanna Vetere (NatureWorks) and Henri Colens (Braskem) have been designated as vice chairmen of the EUBP board, and Peter Brunk (Biotec) will act as the treasurer. Michael von Ketteler (BASF), Brunk and Stefano Facco (Novamont) have also been re-elected as members of the executive board for another term. The new addition to the team is Kaneka’s Erwin Lepoudre.
