ARLANXEO
Headquarters opened in Maastricht / Management team is established
Arlanxeo (Maastricht / The Netherlands; www.arlanxeo.com), the 50:50 synthetic rubber joint venture between Lanxess (Cologne / Germany; www.lanxess.com) and Saudi Aramco (Dhahran / Saudi Arabia; www.saudiaramco.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 15.04.2016 –, has opened its corporate headquarters in Maastricht / The Netherlands.
Jan Paul de Vries, Arlanxeo CEO, said at the opening ceremony: “After the launch at the beginning of April, the opening of our headquarters is the next step toward establishing Arlanxeo. In Maastricht, we have found the perfect international location that is also in the immediate vicinity of our company’s key European production sites. It offers outstanding conditions for Arlanxeo to strengthen its position as the key player in the global synthetic rubber market.”
The company’s management team has been drawn evenly from both partner companies. Alongside Jan Paul de Vries as CEO, Jorge Nogueira also moved from Lanxess to the management team. Saudi Aramco provided Ali Ba-Baidhan as CFO and Fayez Alsharef as the chief procurement officer.
