Office opens in Dubai / Participation in “Arabplast”
German machinery manufacturer Arburg (Lossburg; www.arburg.com) plans to open a regional office in Dubai / UAE to handle sales, support and after sales services. “The Arabian market is a growth region in which Arburg would like to position itself even more strongly in future,” said Helmut Heinson, managing director sales.
This year, Arburg participated for the first time at “Arabplast”, held in Dubai in January. Its exhibit included the energy-efficient, electric “Allrounder 570 A ” for medical equipment applications, which can produce 48 barrels in PP with a part weight of 3.23g in a cycle time of 12 seconds.
