Purchase of Canadian custom precision moulder Plastic Moulders / Latest step in growth strategy
Continuing its recent acquisition spree in the Americas, Australia-based packaging giant Amcor (Hawthorn; www.amcor.com) in mid-May added custom precision moulder Plastic Moulders (Toronto / Canada; www.plasticmoulders.com) into its fold. The purchase, financial details of which were not disclosed, follows Amcor’s acquisition of US flexible packager Deluxe Packages in January (see Plasteurope.com of 11.01.2016) as well as its most recent buy, South American plastic packaging producer Alusa (see Plasteurope.com of 25.04.2016).
