AMCOR
Three non-core flexible packaging plants sold to Integrated Packaging
Australia’s Amcor (Abbotsford; www.amcor.com) has sold three flexible packaging plants in Australasia to stretch-film producer Integrated Packaging (Reservoir, Victoria / Australia; www.ipstretch.com). Amcor first purchased the plants earlier this year when it acquired flexible packaging producer Aperio Group (Nunawading / Australia; www.aperiogroup.com.au) – see Plasteurope.com of 12.03.2012 – and described the businesses as focused on the non-core industrial and agriculture markets.

The EUR 14.4m transaction still has to meet the approval of the relevant authorities. By press time Plasteurope.com had not received a reply concerning its query which plants in particular would be sold.
