The new division, under Michael Feltes, also includes injection blow moulding and compression moulding in addition to injection moulding. Feltes has been working for the Austrian group as business development director in the injection moulding segment since October 2022.
The new division’s headquarters is located at the company’s headquarters in Hard. In addition, there will be global teams in all nine regions of the group. ALPLAinject produces around 60 bn injection moulded parts per year in 43 plants worldwide.

“The injection moulding sector offers enormous potential and is one of our strategic growth drivers. The competitive market environment demands maximum cost efficiency and flexibility. As a separate injection moulding division, ALPLAinject will continue to guarantee our competitiveness in the future,” said CEO Philipp Lehner. The new division reports directly to him.
Last year, Alpla had bundled its recycling activities under the Alplarecycling umbrella.
