Sale of adhesive tape substrate business to Tekni-Plex
PVC film manufacturer Alfatherm (Venegono Superiore / Italy; www.alfatherm.it) is selling its adhesive tape substrate division for an undisclosed sum to Tekni-Plex (Wayne, Pennsylvania / USA; www.tekni-plex.com). The business will be integrated into Tekni-Films Gallazzi in Gallarate / Italy, the companies said. Tekni-Plex, a packaging and hose specialist, had taken over PVC film producer Gallazzi in 2015. Founded more than 50 years ago, Alfatherm is one of the largest manufacturers of PVC films in Europe. The company operates three factories in the Milan region.
