German distributor establishes second subsidiary in Morocco

By opening another location in Morocco, plastics distributor Albis (Hamburg, Germany; www.albis.com) said it is expanding its presence in North Africa. The company has established the subsidiary Albis Maghreb in the free trade zone of the port city of Tangier, aiming to serve as a logistics hub for access to North African markets.

Since October 2023, the Hamburg-based company has also been represented in Tangier by its sales subsidiary, Albis Morocco. Globally, the distribution company Albis operates 26 locations with around 500 employees.
