Evonik PEEK compounds on sale in Europe
German distributor Albis (Hamburg; www.albis.com) said it has started offering Vestakeep brand PEEK compounds throughout Europe. The high-performance thermoplastics from compatriot speciality chemicals manufacturer Evonik (Essen; www.evonik.com) are said to be characterised by their stability and their resistance to wear and aggressive chemicals, the retailer explained.

The properties thus make the materials suitable for applications in the production of semiconductors, cables, filaments and films, oil, and cars and aircraft.
Evonik’s granule and powder grades are also said to be used in mechanical engineering, in food and drinking water applications, and in medical technology
