Albis Plastic (Hamburg / Germany; www.albis.com), which specialises in the distribution and compounding of engineering thermoplastics, has established a subsidiary in Sibiu / Romania. The new business forms part of the company’s plans to expand its market position in central and eastern Europe as part of its regional growth strategy. A four-member sales team will advise customers in Romania on product selection and processing. Stocks will be held locally for prompt delivery.

With more than 16 subsidiaries, Albis Plastic is now represented in Europe, Asia and North America. The company manufactures its own plastic compounds and masterbatches at its German sites in Hamburg and Zülpich and in Manchester / UK.
