Aiscondel SA (Aragon 182, E-08011 Barcelona), one of the most important Spanish PVC manfacturers, has been made a full member of the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers (ECVM, Avenue E. Van Nieuwenhuyse 4, B-1160 Brussels). The Sales Director of the company, Francisco Font, as representative of Aiscondel, has been given a seat on the Board of the ECVM. The entry of Aiscondel raises the number of member firms to 13, who together manufacture over 5m tonnes of PVC and employ some 50,000 people.

Aiscondel, which was present at "K '95" in Düsseldorf, had a turnover of over DM 225m in 1994, and is one of the 4 PVC manufacturers on the Iberian coast belonging to ECVM; the others are Elf Atochem SA and Solvay SA in Spain, and Cires SA in Portugal.
