Croatian tier 2 supplier buys Hungarian competitor Tisza Automotive
The Hungarian tier 2 automotive supplier Tisza Automotive (Tiszaújváros / Hungary; www.t-a.hu) has recently been acquired by Croatia's largest supplier of plastic components to the car industry AD Plastik (Solin; www.adplastik.hr – see Plasteurope.com of 10.01.2017). The Croatian company has become 100% owner of the Hungarian supplier.
Tisza Automotive has around 400 employees, and manufactures technical parts and linings for the car interior by injection moulding and blow moulding. Its main customer is Suzuki, but it also supplies Bentley and VW and numerous tier 1 companies such as Rehau and Reydel. In 2017, the Hungarian company generated revenues of more than EUR 20m.
