Dubai-based plastics distributor on the lookout for PVC impact modifier supplier to cater to Mideast market demands
Dubai-based plastics distributor Advanced Polymer Trading (APT, United Arab Emirates; www.advanced-polymer.com) says it is looking for a PVC impact modifier supplier to extend its product range in the Middle East. According to APT managing director Hamid Amiri, “there is a large market demand for PVC impact modifiers in the Middle East.” Amiri added that, “we want to form a partnership with a supplier to meet these demands in this increasingly lucrative market.”
Potential partners will benefit from APT’s experience with the Middle East market, backed by local representation and a capable technical support staff, the UAE group says.
In August this year, APT signed an agreement to distribute Aksoy Plastik’s (Istanbul / Turkey; www.aksoyplastik.com.tr) range of plastic additives and colouring solutions – see Plasteurope.com of 12.08.2011. The group also has agreements in place with Mitsui Chemical, Kuraray, Mitsubishi, Merquinsa and Dana, among others.
