Agreement to sell “Eval” EVOH resins
International trading company Advanced Polymer Trading (APT, Dubai / United Arab Emirates; www.advanced-polymer.com) has announced an agreement to market, sell and distribute resins for Eval Europe (Zwijndrecht / Belgium; www.eval.be).
Eval Europe, a subsidiary of Japanese chemicals producer Kuraray (Tokyo; www.kuraray.co.jp), produces “Eval” EVOH copolymer resins. A major application for Eval resins is as a functional barrier in food packaging, APT said. The resins are also suitable for applications including medical, cosmetic and automotive, and are a good fit with sectors and applications targeted by APT, it added.
