Amari Plastics (Weybridge / UK; www.amariplastics.com), a distributor of signs, display and graphics products, has been appointed UK distributor for 3M's (St. Paul, Minnesota / USA; www.3m.com) commercial graphic and architectural films range. Amari already distributes the US manufacturer's double-sided tapes, adhesives and abrasives. This appointment adds cast vinyls including the "Scotchcal" 100 series, the "Envision" range of non-PVC films and "DI-NOC" architectural films. 3M's products are used for applications such as vehicle and car wrapping, signage films, rear projection displays and building wraps.

The US technology group also has a new managing director, Christiane Grün, for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (3M Deutschland, Neuss / Germany) since 1 August 2017. She is responsible for the group's largest European plant in Hilden / Germany, where high-performance films and plastic products are manufactured for the automotive sector (see also Plasteurope.com of 07.02.2017).
