REPSOL
Collaboration with Spanish packaging group Saica / LDPE film recycling
Spanish energy and petrochemicals group Repsol (Madrid; www.repsol.com) and Spanish packaging group Saica (Zaragoza; www.saica.com) have signed an agreement to improve LDPE film circularity. The collaboration aims to maximise the use of recycled LDPE for the production of new polyolefins. Nature Cycle Plus is the division belonging to Saica Natur (Saica's recyclable materials recovery business area) that produces recyclate from LDPE. Saica Natur is present in France, Spain, Portugal and the UK.

This agreement is part of both Repsol’s "Reciclex" project – see Plasteurope.com of 03.05.2018 – which focuses on the circularity of its materials, and the "Pact for a Circular Economy" signed by Repsol, Saica and other Spanish companies and organisations – see Plasteurope.com of 14.03.2018.
