David Baker is new INCPEN chairman
David Baker, commercial director of RPC Promens Industrial (Rushden / UK; www.rpc-group.com), is the new chair of the UK’s Industry Council for Research on Packaging & the Environment (INCPEN, Reading; www.incpen.org).
Baker takes over from Ian Blythe of Boots UK, who has completed his six-year term at the helm of the industry association representing companies active all along the packaging supply chain.
INCPEN is a research organisation established in 1974 to bring together manufacturers and retailers from across the supply chain to promote sustainable packaging for resource-efficient supply chains. Recent research includes guidance on packaging for multi-channel delivery systems, a survey of food waste from retail depot to checkout and analyses of litter composition in England and Scotland.
