Erik Bouts is new management spokesperson for German films manufacturer

Südpack (Ochsenhausen / Germany; www.suedpack.com), a manufacturer of film packaging for food and medical devices, has appointed Erik Bouts as the new management spokesperson effective 9 September 2019. He takes over from managing partner Johannes Remmele, who will gradually step back from operational management. Remmele remains a member of the advisory board.
Most recently, Bouts was CEO of Mondi’s (Vienna; www.mondigroup.com) industrial paper packaging division and prior to that managed 75 sites for beverage container manufacturer Ball (Broomfield, Colorado / USA; www.ball.com) as well as for the glass container producer Owens-Illinois (Perrysburg, Ohio / USA; www.o-i.com). Bouts will jointly manage the Südpack group with Carolin Grimbacher and Tharcisse Carl.
In July 2019, Südpack inaugurated its plant in Schwendi / Germany. Since its opening, the plant has produced blown films, including for Philip Morris tobacco products – see Plasteurope.com of 29.07.2019.
