Siegfried Köhler switches to Sumitomo, Valentina Faloci succeeds him at Wittmann Battenfeld

Leaving behind his previous position as sales director at Wittmann Battenfeld (Kottingbrunn / Austria; www.wittmann-group.com), Siegfried Köhler will on 1 October 2019 take up his new post as chief sales officer at Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery (Schwaig / Germany; www.sumitomo-shi-demag.eu).
According to Sumitomo CEO Gerd Liebig, Köhler, whose work experience includes a stint at Italian peripherals specialist Piovan (Santa Maria di Sala; www.piovan.com), is to orient the group’s international sales more strongly in the direction of automation and business development.

Meanwhile, Valentina Faloci has already taken up her new position as sales director at Wittmann Battenfeld. Faloci has a degree in electrical engineering and was previously business development director at the Austrian branch of engineering services provider Alten (Munich / Germany; www.alten.com), where she was responsible for business relations with the automotive industry.
