CEO Maurizio Butti passes away

The CEO of additive manufacturer Songwon (Ulsan / South Korea; www.songwon.com), Maurizio Butti, unexpectedly passed away on 7 September 2019. The cause of death has not been reported. Butti joined Songwon in 2006 and held various executive positions. In 2016, he became CEO and executive board member. Before working at Songwon, Butti held positions at Great Lakes Chemical, Enichem and SOL Industries.
He was an inspiring leader, managing the company with humour, integrity and passion, says Jongho Park, chairman of the board. In the meantime, Park will take over as interim CEO.
