Spanish BOPP film manufacturer Poligal (Narón; www.poligal.com) is continuing to grow production at its site in Skarbimierz / Poland. At the factory, which opened at the end of 2017 – see Plasteurope.com of 26.02.2018 – a second metalliser from Bobst (Lausanne / Switzerland; www.bobst.com) will be installed by the end of 2019. The first Bobst metalliser the company bought was installed at its plant in Portugal in 2015.

The new machine will allow the company to offer a greater amount of coated, high-barrier films to customers in Central Europe. Poligal earlier this year announced it was closing its main plant in Spain – see Plasteurope.com of 26.02.2019.
