Expansion of injection moulding plant in Portugal complete
One year ago, automotive supplier Novares (Paris / France; www.novaresteam.com), formerly known as Mecaplast, initiated the expansion of its injection moulding plant in Arouca / Portugal. On 8 October 2019, the new facilities became operational.

To create additional space for new and larger machinery with clamping forces of up to 21,000 kN, the production area was almost doubled and is now 3,400 m². As a result, the number of employees will be increased from 78 to 100. The Arouca plant supplies interior trim, bodywork and engine compartment parts mainly to assembly lines of PSA at Poissy / France, Kenitra / Morocco, Trnava / Slovakia as well as its Spanish sites in Vigo and Zaragoza.
