New compounding plant in Italy / Capacity of 7,000 t/y for PA compounds
A new supplier of polyamide compounds in Italy is now in operation. Euronil S.p.A. (Via Moscova 1, I-20017 Rho (MI)) has begun production at its new 7,000 t/y facility manufacturing a range of nylon 6 and 66 compounds principally for the telectronics, automotive and household appliance markets. The company has ambitious plans to establish a leading position in the engineering compounds market which includes the expansion of its product range to include other materials and blends, as well eventually increase output to 20,000 t/y. The company aims to achieve annual sales of ITL 45bn. Euronil is owned by the Israeli nylon and textiles manufacturer Nilit Ltd. Textile and Fashion Center (HQ: 2 Kaufman Str, P.O.B. 50276, Tel Aviv 68012, Israel), which supplies the Italian subsidiary with raw materials.
