Kuraray (Tokyo / Japan; www.kuraray.com) has rebranded its “Trosifol” PVB films under the new name “Mowital Thin Film”. The speciality chemicals producer said the move consolidates its range of technical PVB materials under the Mowital trade name. It will continue to sell film materials for laminated safety glass applications in the architecture, automotive and photovoltaic sectors under the name Trosifol.

Mowital Thin Film is used for laminating various materials, including glass, metal, ceramics, polymer fibres and polyurethane foam. It is also suitable for the production of thermoplastic prepregs.
