The total investment of just under EUR 15 mn includes a capacity of about 50,000 t/y for PU systems. In addition to this, there will be a recycling line with a nominal capacity of 5,000 t/y to process PET waste into polyester polyols and an EVA line with a nominal capacity of 10,000 t/y.
By the end of 2024, all plants are slated to be completed and in operation. According to Kimpur CEO Cavidan Karaca, the material will be exported as well as supplied to the domestic market.

There was not enough space to expand Kimpur’s main plant in Gebze, which has a capacity of 120,000 t/y, so the company began to consider Dücze as a second location. According to the company, the additional production is a significant step towards the targeted 200,000 t/y total capacity.
Kimpur mixes ready-to-use systems for rigid and flexible PU foams for applications like shoe soles, household appliances, automotive construction, and playground impact protection surfacing.
