Expansion of light-blocking colourants for PET packaging in Indonesia

Masterbatch producer Holland Colours (Apeldoorn / The Netherlands; www.hollandcolours.com) is expanding production of light-blocking colourants for PET packaging at its plant in Surabaya / Indonesia. The company said it is expanding capacity in response to strong demand for these colourants in PET containers for dairy applications.
“This investment will significantly increase our capacity and capabilities of our light barrier solutions,” said Henri Jacobs, director in charge of Asia. “With this expansion, we also anticipate a surge in global demand for PET packaging for long shelf-life milk and other dairy products.”
