Additives producer opens European central office in Rotterdam

US speciality chemicals producer Emerald Kalama Chemical (Vancouver, Washington; www.emeraldmaterials.com) has opened a central office in Rotterdam / The Netherlands that will serve as a hub for the company’s EMEA operations. Products manufactured at the company’s European plants will be supplied to customers worldwide from this location. The centralised office will remain closely connected to the global headquarters in Vancouver.

Emerald was established from offshoots of BF Goodrich, DSM and Innospec and operates facilities for phthalate-free plasticiser at Botlek, near Rotterdam. The company also has a site in Widnes / UK.
